Excursion Martvili - Okatse. The edge of the canyons.
An excursion day to the Samegrelo region, will begin with a visit to the «Martvili Canyon», which is located 55 km from the capital of Western Georgia, Kutaisi. The canyon is 2.5 km long, the maximum depth is 70 m. At the top of the canyon, you can ride a rubber boat along the crystal clear river, between overhanging cliffs overgrown with perennial moss. «Martvili Canyon» is the perfect place for a luxurious selfie.
Lunch at one of the local restaurants. The cost of lunch is paid by tourists on their own.
After lunch you will continue your acquaintance with the most grandiose natural monuments of Western Georgia and visit another canyon -«Okatse». It is also impressive in both size and stunning views that can be enjoyed from the suspended metal road, located at the height of Ten-story building. The path to the metal road lies through the forest and the ruins of the palace of the Dadiani princes.
